What services does Riviera Interpreting provide?

We support you across four areas: written translation (legal, financial, commercial), interpreting (consecutive, simultaneous or liaison), high-end linguistic concierge services and tailor-made assistance. Every assignment is handled with rigour, confidentiality and to the professional standards of the sector. See our Services page for details, and feel free to describe your need, however unusual.

Where do you operate?

Our home ground is the French Riviera: Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Menton. We also work in Montpellier, Perpignan and nearby cities. And beyond: our interpreters regularly accompany clients internationally, on site or remotely by video conference. Wherever your assignment takes place, let’s talk.

What does “sworn translation” mean and when is an apostille needed?

A sworn translation — also called certified or official — is produced exclusively by a translator sworn before a French court of appeal. Bearing their stamp and signature, it is recognised by French and international authorities: civil-status records, judgments, contracts, notarial deeds, powers of attorney… Depending on the destination country, an apostille or legalisation may be required to authenticate the document; we are happy to guide you through it.

What is a linguistic concierge service?

It is our bespoke support for a demanding international clientele: we become your trusted intermediary between you and your providers on the French Riviera — yachting, prestige venues, private residences, events. Private interpreting, coordination of every exchange, absolute discretion: each moment is orchestrated for a seamless, uncompromising experience.

What is whispered interpreting?

Also known as chuchotage, it is real-time translation delivered in a low voice to a single listener — without interrupting the conversation. It is the ideal format for private meetings, high-end appointments and international events where discretion, fluidity and responsiveness are essential.

Do you offer remote interpreting?

Yes. Our interpreters work by video conference, wherever your counterparts are: international meetings, professional appointments, negotiations, property transactions. Smooth, precise and secure communication with no geographical constraint — often the simplest solution for urgent exchanges.

What does your Player Relocation service include?

We support professional players, young international talents and their families as they settle in France: premium interpreting (club, medical and legal appointments), sworn translation of official documents, and full day-to-day assistance — prefecture, banking, housing, schooling, insurance. You focus on performance; we handle the rest.

Is the quote free and when is my order confirmed?

Yes — every service starts with a free, no-obligation quote. Your order becomes binding once you approve it in writing (a simple email or a signature) and, for certain assignments, pay a deposit. You know exactly where you stand before committing.

How are prices and deadlines determined?

Prices are in euros and reflect the volume, complexity and urgency of your request — every quote is personalised. Deadlines are confirmed when you place the order, and we do everything we can to keep them. Depending on the assignment, we can work 7 days a week, around the clock.

Are my documents and conversations confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is at the heart of our profession: no document, information or exchange is ever disclosed without your prior consent, and access to your data is limited to authorised persons only.

What if I need to cancel or postpone?

We know plans change. For interpreting: cancellation more than 48 hours ahead is free of charge; between 48 and 24 hours, 50% remains due; under 24 hours, the full amount is due. For translation, any work already started is due in full. Contact us as early as possible — rescheduling is often an option.

What personal data do you collect and why?

Only what is needed to assist you: identity, contact details, professional information, entrusted documents and browsing data. They are used to handle your requests and quotes, deliver the services, manage follow-up and invoicing, and meet our legal obligations. Your data is never sold.

How can I exercise my GDPR rights?

Just write to contact.ri@azur-trad.fr for access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability of your data — we handle every request promptly.
